This is my very first pair of inline skates.

I bought this pair at Paragon Sports in downtown Manhattan.

This is the one of the Rollerblade's first models on the market when inlineskates were introduced to general public widely. They are hard boots, very high-cut. It is pretty obvious that they were derived from off-season ski training.

Unlike models in the current market, the skates had only 3 (three) wheels. 3-wheeler was pretty standard that time.

I do not have any memory that the boot was uncomfortable, so it must have been OK, although they look far from comfort.

I skated several times on the Prospect Park Loop. Of course I fell and made a huge raspberry on my thigh - and the pair was put into the closet. A typical story.
